I wanted to call this post “I’m not dead yet!” in reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail because I’m weird… but I just need to apologize for being very absent these past few months. My migraines have been getting worse. I saw the neurologist yesterday and it turns out Botox has just been approved as a new treatment (three shots in the forehead, one in each temple, and one down by the neck), so if my insurance approves it, we might give it a shot (no pun intended) because my regular medicine has not been working as efficiently. If the Botox does for me what it does for others, one treatment will last three months.
Anyway, please hang in there with me… this blog and I really aren’t dead yet. There are things that are coming soon that I’ve been jotting down in spurts. Some new understandings and revelations that I really want to share.
Prayer would be wonderfully appreciated as always. The heart of Christ remains the same no matter what happens — everything came from it and everything will conclude in it, the beginning and end of all things.
Hold on to that, all you ragamuffins.
